I can't even start to say how happy I am that I finally have a cel of these characters. Meier and Charlotte from Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust are two of my absolute favorite characters Period. Their relationship is trajic and I felt so strongly for them. (The relationship also reminds me a lot of one between my friend's and my original characters.) Even better, the artwork in the movie was stunning, and I feel proud to own a piece of it. This cel is a birthday present to myself ;). The background not matching, but is a scaned copy from inside the castle in another scene (I love the way cels look against backgrounds, though, even if it dosn't match exactly.) The cel is A19.
